“ First time here and we really enjoy everything we ordered. Pineapple Fried rice is to die for. Service is excellent. ”
“ We were visiting Sacramento from San Jose (hi CIM!), and this Thai spot completely blew us away! The flavors here are better than any Thai food we've had in the Bay --and we've tried a lot. The staff was super friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. If you're in Sacramento and love Thai food, this is the place to try. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town! ”
“ We love the food and ambiance. The owner is a very kind man who gave attention to our baby boy. He brought oranges and a capri son for him while we waited for our food. Such a good place for authentic Thai food. ”
“ I ate here during the training session of AmeriCorps NCCC Pacific Region with my temporary team. We had just returned from an afternoon/evening of exploring in Old Town and Downtown Sacramento so it was a nice way to tie it up in a bow. We ordered independently via mobile options (myself on Yelp actually) to not overwhelm them in-person. By the time we arrived for pickup, the restaurant staff had nicely collected all our orders together onto one table. They had probably figured out we were part of one group, given how close in time we ordered. Great service nod! I got the pad see ew, looking for a change from pad thai. It was not the best I've had, but also not the worst. Probably could have been more sauce, and the noodle/beansprout/chicken ratio was off. But it was good to eat out after trying to limit myself on campus to team-budgeted grocery items! ”
“ Wonderful food and great service Good place to eat I love their soup and their service. The ambience is perfect. Beautiful decoration from Thailand and a wonderful service. I love going there one of my favorite restaurants. I like the curry soups with mango. ”
“ A great hole in the wall! Parking will be a bit difficult to find around the area, however people come and go. I went on a random Tuesday during noon and it was a bit busy with people enjoying their lunch break. It was nice to see all ethnicities enjoy this tasty food! I knew with 4 stars and 1k+ reviews I needed to try this. First of all, this place is SO CHEAP and VERY AFFORDABLE. I ended up getting 2 things and considered getting one more since the prices were very low. You are paying $12-14 on average per plate. Service was great and super fast. The ladies were super sweet! I ordered the pad Thai and WOW. So saucy and a great blend of sour and sweet. It came out sooooo hot with a side of fresh veggies. I would definitely come back for this, because it was soooo comforting. I crave this. As far as the red curry, I do believe it was a bit watery and needed more taste or more seasonings in it, but for the price I guess it would do. I feel like it just needed a bit more coconut milk or something to make it savory. The vegetables were very good but also a bit overcooked and too soft like the eggplant, carrots, bamboo shoots. BTW, I ordered the Thai tea as well. BEST THAI TEA IVE TRIED. Great sweetness compared to many Thai teas I've tried. Overall, if you want quick great tasting Thai food - this is your place. Would I go again? Heck yes. ”
“ Seated immediately, friendly service, quick delivery on food that was delicious and great portions. You couldn't ask for a better experience. My husband lived in Thailand and he was very happy here. ”
“ We drove 40 min just for House of Thai ! A wonderful find with the most delicious food and kind staff that interacts and remembers you. Saw a customer gifting T with souvenirs, just shows how connected and homey this place is. Starting with appetizer; we tried the how we rolls and calamari. The how we rolls dish takes the spotlight here as it was fresh and the sauce was perfectly tangy reminding me of flavors from home. For main dishes; we tried red curry with chicken, drunken noodles, pad se - ew and pineapple fried rice. We ordered all of our spices in medium or 3/5 spicy and there was definitely a kick. I love spice, so it's perfect for me but beware that they add spice very leniently. Every single one of our dishes were amazing and packed with bold flavor. For dessert, we all shared the mango sticky rice. I absolutely love this here as it's not too sweet and gives perfect ratio of fruit to rice. I can't wait to come back and try everything else on the menu as well! Definitely recommend this place for anyone craving authentic Thai food ”
“ I wish I could rate this spot more than five stars. Each time I step foot in this restaurant I immediately smile, maybe the second I pull into the plaza even. I've stopped by many times here now, both for take-out and dine in and both are great options, but it's amazing dine in. The owner, T is usually behind the counter and greets you as soon as you come in. If you're waiting on a to-go order they have a few seats by the door that you can use and one time while I was waiting they gave me a Thai tea to sip on while I waited, totally unexpected. Every dish I've tried has been delicious and because of this I've been trying to order new things everytime I stop in. They have a pretty big menu. Some favorites so far are the panang curry and drunken noodles, but as I work my way through the menu I'm sure I'll discover some new favorites. They do have a parking lot and if it's a bit full there is additional parking on the back side of the plaza, but I've always been able to find a spot up front. If you become a regular T will totally remember you. One of my favorite parts of dining in is seeing them interact with their regulars and seeing how much they care about their customers and their experiences. If I lived a bit closer I would be here a few times a month, it's so good! ”
